Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program services (PRP services) are collaborative, person-centered and individualized. The services are focused on supporting participants to improve their daily living activities and increase their engagement in the community. Participants will discuss their mental health needs, strengths and goals with our staff, and our staff will empower them to connect with additional resources, enhance their strengths and skills, and learn how to advocate for themselves.
Therapists may download, complete, scan and return PRP Referral forms via email to info@unleashing-potential.org or fax the completed forms to (410) 469-4076.
Participants may download and complete the PRP Consent Packet and bring the completed and signed forms with them to the PRP Assessment or return the completed consents via email to info@unleashing-potential.org or fax them to (410) 469-4076.
Participants will identify the different forms of communication and discuss the impact of each form in the workplace.
Participants will review the organization's history and mission, discuss why they do what they do, learn the value of quality communication skills and practice empathy. This training is 2 hours.
Participants will define stereotypes, racism, prejudice and privilege. The training includes activities and group discussions designed to encourage individuals to reflect on their lives and the impact stereotypes, racism, prejudice and privilege have had on each participant. Participants will learn skills to reduce stress and anxiety while at work. This training is 1 hour.
Participants will define trauma, find their ACE Score, discuss resilience, and identify skills needed to change behaviors and de-escalate situations.
